People who live on the coasts and have never traveled to Kansas City tend to underrate it. We actually have a wide variety of interesting places and activities to offer visitors and residents.
Kansas City may not have the ocean or the mountains, but it has lush tree covered hillsides which are beautiful in the fall, a smattering of snow in winter, unusually nice residential areas and parks, many fountains, reasonable real estate prices, and very warm, friendly people.
